VACATION HOME EXPOS TAPS INDUSTRY VETERAN RICK FISHER AS PRESIDENT

Greenwich, CT, October 26, 2007 - Vacation Home Expo, the first and only consumer travel show solely focused on the condominium, villa, and vacation home rental market, today announced the appointment of Rick Fisher as the company’s President. Presented by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and produced in conjunction with several vacation home associations, the Vacation Home Expo is targeting one of the most popular and fastest growing segments of the vacation home and travel markets.

Rick’s extensive vacation rental travel background reaches back almost twenty years to 1988 when he launched the retail travel group Condominium Travel Associates, a travel agency consortium and distribution network dedicated to the promotion and marketing of vacation rentals. For the last seven years he was Vice President for Expedia Inc.’s Specialty Lodging division where he helped the company evolve to become the leading online provider for vacation rentals worldwide.

According to Rick the first consumer travel show scheduled in Atlanta next April at the Cobb Galleria Centre couldn’t come at a better time. "The condo, villa, and vacation home segments continue to explode in popularity with consumers, however only about 15% of the North American population has ever vacationed in these alternative
accommodations to a traditional hotel room" said Rick. "The Vacation Home Expo will be a unique venue where consumers, media, and retail travel trade will interface directly with the vacation home supply community to better educate everyone about available properties and resorts and the accommodation lifestyle experience itself", he added.
